The Sheffield Spartans are top of the ENIHL North cup group after a convincing win over Kingston on Saturday.

A poor start from Sheffield allowed Kingston to take the lead in the first period, the Spartans responded with an equalizing goal only for Kingston to regain the lead once more to end the period Kingston 2 - Sheffield 1. Sheffield looked like a different team after the break, scoring 3 unanswered goals to finish the second period with a 4-2 lead. The Spartans continued to control the game in the third period, Kingston grabbed a third goal, but four goals from Sheffield secured the win.

This was the Spartans sixth win from six cup games. One more win will cement thier place at the top of the group, then the Spartans will progress to face one of the southern teams.
