After two solid results against playoff contenders this weekend the Spartans have jumped to second in the league. The Spartans beat Billingham 5-2 on Saturday & beat Coventry 4-1 on Sunday, both at iceSheffield.

This puts the Spartans in a strong position in the league title race, three points clear of Whitley Bay and only one point behind Nottingham with three games in hand.
